Shenyang Public Utility Holdings Company Limited reported audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2016. For the year, the company reported revenue of RMB 108,370,000 against RMB 311,400,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was RMB 12,032,000 against RMB 3,724,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of the company was RMB 2,349,000 or 0.16 cents per basic share against loss attributable to owners of the parent of RMB 2,773,000 or 0.24 cents per basic share a year ago. The substantial decrease in revenue is primarily due to the decrease in revenue generated from the construction of infrastructure and development of properties in the PRC despite the increase in the revenue from credit business segment.

The board of directors of the company announced the shareholders of the company and potential investors that based on preliminary review and assessment of the group's unaudited consolidated management accounts of the group for the year ended 31 December 2016 and information currently available, the Board expected that the Group will record a profit after taxation and profit attributable to owners of the Company not less than RMB 5 million and RMB 2 million respectively for the 2016 Financial Year as compared to the loss after taxation of approximately RMB 2.8 million and loss attributable to the owners of the Company of approximately RMB 2.8 million respectively for the financial year ended 31 December 2015, despite a substantial decrease in turnover. The substantial decrease in turnover is mainly due to the fact that the turnover from the segment of construction of infrastructure and development of properties was substantially decreased by over 76% during the 2016 Financial Year as the acceptance of the completion and the transfer of the remaining infrastructure site of Zhongfang Chaozhou Jing Nan Industrial Park Project has completed only approximately 300mu during the 2016 Financial Year.
