The company offers telecommunications infrastructure services, including communications network consultation, planning, design, engineering, construction, and supervision for fixed-line, mobile, broadband networks, and supporting systems; construction services of ancillary communications networks; and integrated solutions for informatization and intelligent buildings to non-operator customers, such as government agencies, financial institutions, broadcasting and television enterprises, construction enterprises, transportation, and electricity sectors. It also provides business process outsourcing services comprising network maintenance services for telecommunications operators that include fiber optic cables, electric cables, mobile base stations, network equipment, and terminals; general facilities management services to telecommunications operator and non-operator customers for their data centers, cloud computing centers, commercial buildings, residential buildings, high-speed railway stations, airports, and other office buildings; and procurement agency, retail, and wholesale services for communications machineries, which comprise handsets. In addition, the company offers logistics, telecom agency, retail outlets operation outsourcing, and other services; and applications, content, and other services, including system integration, software development and system support, value-added, and other services to telecommunications operators, government, industrial customers, and enterprises customers. Further, it provides submarine cable installation and other related services. The company was founded in 2006 and is based in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China. China Communications Services Corporation Limited is a subsidiary of China Telecommunications Corporation.

China Communications Services Corporation Limited Announces Audited Consolidated Earnings Results for the Year Ended December 31, 2016

China Communications Services Corporation Limited announced audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2016. For the year, the company reported profit before tax of RMB 3,055,901,000 against RMB 2,824,963,000 for the same period a year ago. Basic earnings per share was RMB 0.336 compared to RMB 0.337 a year ago. Net cash generated from operating activities were RMB 5,265,248,000 against RMB 4,687,811,000 for the same period a year ago. Revenues were RMB 88,449,356 compared to RMB 80,959,946 a year ago. Profit attributable to equity shareholders of the company was RMB 2,536,249,000 compared to RMB 2,334,412,000 a year ago. Free cash flow was RMB 4,361 million, up by 22.1%. The decrease in revenue from BPO services was mainly attributable to the Group’s proactive control of the products distribution business with lower efficiency and its increasing focus on transforming towards high-end businesses. As to business structure, construction, design and management of infrastructure for information technology (“Network Maintenance”) were the three major businesses that contributed to the Group’s overall incremental revenues.

China Communications Services Corporation Limited Proposes to Distribute Final and Special Dividend for the Financial Year Ended December 31, 2016, Payable on or About 18 August 2017

The board of China Communications Services Corporation Limited has proposed to distribute a final dividend of RMB 0.1098 per share and a special dividend of RMB 0.0220 per share, and the total dividend is RMB 0.1318 per share (pre-tax) for the year ended 31 December 2016. The dividend proposal will be submitted for consideration at the annual general meeting. If such proposed dividend distribution is approved by the shareholders, the final dividend and special dividend will be distributed to those shareholders whose names appear on the register of members of the company on July 11, 2017. The proposed dividends are expected to be paid on or about August 18, 2017 upon approval at the annual general meeting.
