Prosperity REIT announced audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2014. For the year, the company's net cash from operating activities was HKD 307.6 million compared with HKD 255.6 million a year ago. Additional expenditure to investment properties was HKD 25.8 million compared with HKD 15.4 million a year ago.

Prosperity Real Estate Investment Trust Announces Final Distribution for the Year Ended December 31, 2014, Payable on April 2, 2015

Prosperity Real Estate Investment Trust announced a total distribution per unit of HKD 0.1630, representing a rise of 9.0% year-on-year and an attractive distribution yield of 6.2%. The register of unitholders will be closed from March 23, 2015 to March 26, 2015, both days inclusive, during which period no transfer of units will be effected. In order to qualify for the distribution, all unit certificates with completed transfer forms must be lodged with Prosperity REIT's unit registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited at Shops 1712­16, 17/F., Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wanchai, Hong Kong, not later than 4:30 p.m. on March 20, 2015. The payment date of the final distribution will be on April 2, 2015.

Prosperity REIT reported audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2014. For the period, the company’s revenue was HKD 403,413,000 against HKD 341,883,000 a year ago. Net property income was HKD 312,056,000 against HKD 266,931,000 a year ago. Profit before tax and transactions with unitholders were HKD 498,117,000 against HKD 724,393,000 a year ago. Profit for the year, before transactions with unitholders was HKD 466,493,000 against HKD 695,729,000 a year ago. Profit for the year, after transactions with unitholders was HKD 235,129,000 against HKD 486,673,000 a year ago. Income available for distribution to unitholders was HKD 231,364,000 against HKD 209,056,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per unit were HKD 0.33 against HKD 0.50 a year ago.
