The company also designs and sells application solution software; sells application solution related hardware and spare parts; leases civil communication transmission systems to telecommunication companies; and provides maintenance and repair services for hardware and application systems. China City Railway Transportation Technology Holdings Company Limited reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the six months ended June 30, 2015. For the period, the company reported revenue was HKD 147,284,000, profit from operations and before taxation of HKD 28,504,000, net profit of HKD 24,373,000, net profit attributable to equity shareholders of HKD 25,935,000 or HKD 0.0196 per basic share and HKD 0.0193 per diluted share against revenue was HKD 291,801,000, profit from operations and before taxation of HKD 30,853,000, net profit of HKD 22,611,000, net profit attributable to equity shareholders of HKD 20,611,000 or HKD 0.0206 per basic share and HKD 0.0201 per diluted share a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities of HKD 42,208,000 compared to HKD 14,768,000 a year ago. Payments for the purchase of property, plant and equipment and intangible assets of HKD 1,041,000 compared to HKD 1,795,000 a year ago. The decrease in revenue was mainly due to the slowdown of urban railway transportation construction in Beijing recently which led to fewer projects offered for tender. The increase in profit was mainly attributable to the decrease in overheads during the six months ended 30 June 2015 as compared to the corresponding period in 2014.

The board of directors of China City Railway Transportation Technology Holdings Company Limited announced that, the company and China Construction Communications Engineering Group Corporation Limited entered into a 5-year framework agreement on strategic cooperation, pursuant to which, both parties shall establish a long-acting cooperation mechanism comprising short-term, mid-term and long-term goals to promote continuous business growth for both parties in urban railway transportation industry as well as to assist the development of urban railway transportation businesses in China through multi- level, multi-disciplinary and multi-form cooperation to achieve mutual benefits and joint development. The key terms of the Framework Agreement are both parties to the Framework Agreement shall treat urban railway transportation market as the key cooperative area during the 13th Five-Year-Plan period or any other longer term development plan period, utilising respective resource advantages including brand, profession, industry, product, market and funding etc., to jointly open up the urban railway transportation market, in particular, PPP (Public-Private-Partnership) and BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) projects, and to provide sufficient and reliable professional support to the projects to be jointly developed by the parties. The means of cooperation between the parties shall include but not limited to joint-tendering, subcontracting, investing and financing etc.; both parties to the Framework Agreement shall jointly establish a strategic cooperation group, whose main functions include but not limited to market intelligence exchange, project coordination and work allocation etc.; CCCEG shall be the lead tender for any joint-tender formed by both parties to the Framework Agreement; and in the course of cooperation, investment profits shall be distributed in proportion to the respective capital contributions ratio of each party to the Framework Agreement. Upon winning of joint-tender formed by both parties to the Framework Agreement, each party shall discharge its obligation in accordance to the joint-tender agreement, and that each party shall entitle to the full amount of the revenue arising from the project solely constructed by the party specified in the joint-tender agreement.
