Adidas Appoints 72andSunny to Lead its Sports Campaigns

Adidas has appointed 72andSunny to lead its sports campaigns as it looks to shift its communications strategy towards "relentless and aggressive storytelling". The agency's Los Angeles and Amsterdam teams will be responsible for brand-level global campaigns for adidas' soccer, running, basketball and women's lines.

7andSunny Names Matt Murphy as Partner

72andSunny announced that Matt Murphy has been named Partner. As Partner, Murphy will continue his leadership on the company's Google business and will help lead 72andSunny's commitment to experimentation with art, technology, and entertainment. Since joining 72andSunny in 2009, Murphy has been a driving force behind some of the company's most standout work, from introducing Kenny Powers as the outspoken MFCEO of KSWISS, to 72andSunny's work with Nike, Activision, and most recently, Google.

72andSunny Moves into the Former Offices of Howard Hughes at Hercules Campus

72andSunny has moved to the Hercules Campus in the up-and-coming Los Angeles creative hub, "Silicon Beach". They will continue the legacy of creative innovation in the former offices of aviator and film mogul Howard Hughes, a space that has been vacant for decades. An influx of new business propelled 72andSunny to capacity in their former space (approximately 30,000 square feet in West Los Angeles), prompting the agency to seek a new location with room to grow. The 58,000 sq ft space at Hercules Campus will accommodate the company's current 375 employees and will provide ample room for its anticipated expansion.
