Mach7 Technologies Has Signs 5 Year Distribution Agreement with IntriHEALTH
Mar 15 16
3D Medical Limited announced that Mach7 Technologies has signed a 5-year distribution agreement with IntriHEALTH. IntriHEALTH selected Mach7 Enterprise Imaging Platform as the underlying software technology to provide standardisation, scalability and next generation VNA (Vendor Neutral Archive) functionality to its hosted medical image management platform that serves its existing base throughout South Africa. Mach7 Enterprise Imaging Platform delivers enterprise-level medical image management capabilities, with fully-integrated mobile image capture, workflow management, reporting and referral portal functionality that can be distributed by IntriHEALTH as a hosted solution to its customer base of 40 clinical sites. IntriHEALTH currently supports more than 300 medical practitioners who are using the solution daily across South Africa making IntriHEALTH the largest single database of clinical images in South Africa, with over 2 million studies archived to date. Under the Agreement, Mach7 will generate licence revenue to be paid monthly in USD from IntriHEALTH calculated under a pay-per-procedure revenue model. The licence fee is charged on each procedure ingested into the Mach7 platform and the agreed rate-per-procedure is within the example pricing previously described by the Company in its announcement on 3 March 2016. The Agreement provides Mach7 with regular annuity-style revenue over the initial 5-year term; establishes a significant clinical footprint across South Africa and provides a highly-scalable solution to IntriHEALTH that can be easily rolled out to new clinical sites as they come on-board.
Mach7 Technologies Wins U.S. Patent for Medical Image Capture with Mobile Device
Jan 13 16
Mach7 Technologies has been awarded a United States Patent for handheld medical imaging modality. Core to Mach7’s iModality mobile application, this technology strengthens and advances Mach7’s leadership position in enterprise image management and further demonstrates the company’s belief that the patient should always be at the center of care delivery. Mobile technology advanced through an enterprise imaging platform: The Patent covers any mobile device that can capture and upload imaging data into a patient’s electronic medical record (EMR). Using the patented technology, Mach7’s iModality mobile application brings the power and sophistication of Mach7 Enterprise Imaging Platform to mobile devices. The HIPAA compliant solution enables clinicians to securely capture medical imaging data including photos, videos, and notes using a web-enabled smart device (e.g., iPhone, iPad), send to an archive via Mach7 Enterprise Imaging Platform, and link to an EMR for immediate access. iModality enables rapid mobile healthcare in the hands of patient-facing clinicians and moves image management closer to the point of care delivery speeding diagnosis and facilitating care collaboration. The current Mach7 Technologies Patent authors include: Eric Rice, CTO and Alexey Ulanov, Chief Engineer.
