SL Corporation announced on November 4, 2014 at the TIBCO NOW 2014 conference the launch of 2 new solution packages for TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) and TIBCO ActiveSpaces(R). These 2 new additions provide a complete TIBCO monitoring platform when added to existing support for TIBCO BusinessWorks(TM), TIBCO Enterprise Message Service(TM), TIBCO(R) BusinessEvents and TIBCO Hawk(R). Each solution package is a pre-built and pre-configured technology monitoring plug-in for the RTView(R) Enterprise Monitor(TM) platform from SL that makes it easy to use and easy to configure. The core RTView Enterprise Monitor platform provides advanced visualization and correlation capabilities that allow application support teams, developers and middleware operations teams to view aggregate application and middleware-tier health summaries and performance data allowing users to quickly visualize and diagnose the source of performance problems, perform routine health monitoring and scalability analysis and self-service performance data for code validation. The Solution Package for TIBCO ActiveSpaces provides unprecedented visibility into the health and performance of all the distributed spaces supporting a given application, allowing user to validate that workload is being evenly distributed across spaces for maximum performance. RTView also provides the correlation capability to show user only the spaces that are supporting a given application so that user can drill down without having to manually separate them from all the other spaces within shared services environment. This new solution package comes on the heels of the recently released Solution Package for TIBCO ActiveMatrix which provides aggregate health visualizations of TIBCO-powered applications composed of TIBCO ActiveMatrix services, allowing user to drill down to ActiveMatrix services and their supporting nodes. SL Corporation has released version 4.4a of SL-GMS Developer for .NET and its SL-GMS Custom Editor for .NET option to support the new Microsoft Visual Studio 2013. SL-GMS Developer and Custom Editor for .NET were specially designed for developing real-time applications using Microsoft Visual Studio in the .NET Framework, enabling rapid development of content-rich, high performance dynamic graphics, utilizing real-time data with an application -specific custom editor. Sophisticated graphic models with real-time dynamics can be created interactively using the SL-GMSDraw editor, and their behaviors can be previewed instantly. Graphical models that are created using the SL-GMSDraw editor are displayed by the SL-GMS Developer for .NET's Viewer Control, which can be selected from the Visual Studio 2013 Toolbox. These can then be viewed in a Windows form with specific size and position properties. Classes, methods, properties and events can also be used within Visual Studio 2013, and the same graphical displays can be deployed in Web or desktop. Additionally, the SL-GMS Custom Editor for .NET's Editor Control can be used from Visual Studio 2013 to easily develop a solution-specific custom editor in man-months, which would otherwise take man-years. These products have been embedded in major DCS/SCADA products and solutions such as for process control, energy and facilities management throughout the world, and have further proven to provide the strongest Web deployment of advanced control and monitoring systems. SL Corporation Appoints Mike Margulies to Vice President of Sales

SL Corporation announced the appointment of Mike Margulies as Vice President of Global Sales. Reporting directly to SL's COO, Ted Wilson, Mike will be responsible for driving worldwide RTView product license and services sales for SL. Mike brings over 20 years of enterprise sales and go-to-market leadership experience, having held executive sales positions at Informix, Oracle and VMware, and most recently leading North America sales, channels and business development for Critical Path. Mike led the creation of a SaaS business for Critical Path's messaging and security platform, revitalizing its pipeline and revenue growth. At VMware, he drove the turnaround in applications revenue for their West and Central regions, increasing top-line revenues by 50%. He also led the Oracle platform sales team responsible for transforming sales and go-to-market strategy for their technology solutions portfolio, helping drive North America technology revenues over the $1 billion mark for the first time in the company's history.
