QBE Holdings, Inc. announced that after spending the past four years in various Specialty leadership positions, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer of QBE North America’s Specialty Insurance group, Steven L. Gransbury will lead the QBE Accident & Health division as President. Gransbury will be supported by the Accident & Health Executive Leadership Team which includes Joe Kipp, Regional VP – Southwest; Ed Wadhams, Regional VP – Midwest; Mike Jacobs, Regional VP – Northeast; Tara Krauss, VP - A&H Underwriting; Phillip Giles, VP - A&H Sales & Marketing; Brett Detels, VP – A&H Technical Underwriting; Denise Sheehan, VP – Special Risk Accident. QBE North America to Close Morrisville Call Center, Lay Off 107 People

A Morrisville call center office for QBE North America will be shutting down by next March, per a WARN notification sent to the state Department of Commerce this week. The move will eliminate about 107 jobs in Morrisville, according to the WARN notice. Most of the jobs are related to positions in customer care, loss draft representatives and their supervisors. QBE had also closed a call center in Lincoln, Neb., in 2013 eliminating 113 jobs.
QBE North America Launches Management Liability & Professional Lines Coverages

QBE North America continues its expansion into the management liability & professional lines arena with the launch of three new products for public and private commercial companies and financial institutions and non-profit businesses. The three products currently available in the new suite are the QBE excess liability insurance policy; The Executive – a side A excess/difference in conditions policy; and The Solution for Public Company D&O – a primary public directors & officers liability policy.
