The Board of Directors of YTL e-Solutions Berhad announced that the Company has on 31 October 2016, received a letter from Bursa Securities informing the Company that pursuant to Rule 16.07(a) of the ACE Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities, the entire issued and paid up share capital of YTL e-Solutions will be removed from the Official List of Bursa Securities with effect from 9.00 a.m. on 4 November 2016.

On behalf of YTL Corp, CIMB announced that the Offer has closed at 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) 14 October 2016. Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Securities) will suspend the trading of YTL e-Solutions shares commencing 24 October 2016, being the expiry of 5 market days from the close of the offer. In addition, YTL e-Solutions had also submitted an application to Bursa Securities for the withdrawal of its listing status from the Official List of Bursa Securities. Further, the YTL Corp. (offeror) had on 7 October 2016, pursuant to Section 222(1) of the Capital Markets And Services Act, 2007 posted the notice of compulsory acquisition to the dissenting shareholders of YTL e-Solutions, notifying them of the offeror’s intention to compulsorily acquire all the offer shares held by the dissenting shareholders. As at the close of the offer, the offeror is still eligible to undertake the compulsory acquisition.

YTL e-Solutions Berhad announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of MYR 21,051,000, PBT of MYR 17,923,000, profit for the period of MYR 13,777,000, profit attributable to owners of the parent of MYR 8,324,000 or 0.62 sen basic per share compared to the revenue of MYR 21,038,000, PBT of MYR 17,740,000, profit for the period of MYR 13,322,000, profit attributable to owners of the parent of MYR 7,864,000 or 0.58 sen basic per share for the same quarter a year ago.
For the year to date, the company reported revenue of MYR 84,866,000, PBT of MYR 74,916,000, profit for the period of MYR 56,965,000, profit attributable to owners of the parent of MYR 35,106,000 or 2.61 sen basic per share compared to the revenue of MYR 87,532,000 or 2.65 sen basic per share, PBT of MYR 76,446,000, profit for the period of MYR 57,335,000, profit attributable to owners of the parent of MYR 35,716,000 for the same period a year ago. Net cash from operating activities was MYR 55,704,000 against MYR 62,706,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was MYR 489,000 against MYR 394,000 a year ago. Purchase of other intangible assets was MYR 13,000 against MYR 57,000 a year ago.
