Safety National announced that Spencer Timmel, CIPP/US, CIPM, has joined the company as National Director of Cyber and Technology. In his new capacity with Safety National, Timmel will be responsible for leading Safety National’s emergence as a provider of cyber liability and other related coverage. With nearly 20 years in the industry and a decade of cyber-related experience, Timmel brings an extensive background to Safety National, including a particular focus in the areas of risk identification and modeling, breach preparedness, coverage analysis and claims advocacy. He held a variety of client- and market-facing roles at brokerage firms, most recently serving as Cyber and Technology Risk Practice Leader.

Safety National Casualty Corporation has appointed the following individuals to senior management positions: Cyndee Morton has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Operations. Morton is responsible for senior management oversight of the Policy Services Administration and the Information Systems Departments as well as leadership of the Operations Committee. Mitch Neuhaus has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Claims. Neuhaus is responsible for overall leadership and management of the Claims Department, including claim administration and third-party administrator oversight. Keith Rogers has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary. Rogers is responsible for overall leadership and management of the Actuarial Department, including pricing and reserving.
Safety National Casualty Corporation Adds Guaranteed Cost Workers’ Compensation and Captive Services to Product Offerings

Safety National Casualty Corporation has added two new offerings to its suite of products: large guaranteed cost workers’ compensation and captive services. The program requires a minimum premium eligibility of $750,000 and preferred specialty classes consist of hotels and related hospitality, light manufacturing, technology, retail and food-related industries. Abbie Berg, Large Guaranteed Cost Underwriting Manager, will serve as the primary contact for inquiries and business requests. Safety National’s captive services are available for captives in need of a risk-sharing partner, providing coverage flexibility and services tailored to maximize Safety National’s contribution to the captive’s overall risk-financing strategy. For this line of business, Safety National offers both admitted and non-admitted paper in addition to statutory coverage for workers’ compensation and flexible limits for other lines like auto liability, commercial general liability, miscellaneous liability and inland marine.
