EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) has officially opened a new office in the District of Columbia, the most recent expansion of EBA’s presence in the Mid­Atlantic region. Located at 3365B V Street NE, the new office will be a base for EBA’s many service offerings in the metro DC area, including construction management and inspection; materials testing; asset management; and geotechnical, laboratory at the same location, now one of only two privately owned testing facilities in Washington, DC, accredited by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). EBA’s laboratory will support the increasing need for construction materials testing from the billions of dollars of new development projects planned in the area. EBA’s ongoing projects in Washington, DC, include: Pre and postconstruction condition inspections and geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring services for DC Water’s Anacostia River Tunnel project. Construction management, inspection, and materials testing services for Phase 2 of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail project. Civil and geotechnical engineering services for DC Water’s Kennedy Street Green Infrastructure Streetscape project.
