L'Oreal France Announces New France Management Structure

L?Oréal has appointed Hervé Navellou from within to head up L'Oréal France as General Manager and strengthen its governance in its home market by creating a new management structure. Navellou, currently President of the Western Europe Zone for the Consumer Products Division, has been with the company for almost 30 years and has been promoted as part of L'Oréal's new General Management structure it has created for the company in France. The reason for the change is to leverage the strategic opportunities offered by the French beauty market and to strengthen the governance of the Group's activities in the country. The new structure being put in place will see the L'Oréal France General Management team supervise the shared services for all different entities as well as the Country Management Committee comprising the General Managers of the four Divisions in France and the corporate functions. As a part of his new position, the company says that Navellou will also take on the role of General Manager of the Consumer Products Division in France, a business he already knows quite well, given that on joining L'Oréal in 1986, he has spent most of his career with the Consumer Products Division. Navellou was appointed Brand General Manager in Belgium and Germany, and later Director of the Latin America Zone, and then General Manager of the Asia Zone. In 2008, he was appointed Country Manager in Mexico.

Garnier Introduces Ultra DOUX Mythic Olive

Garnier introduced Ultra DOUX Mythic Olive, a new hair care range with olive oil, to nourish dried out hair without making it heavy. Made as a true care ritual, Ultra DOUX Mythic Olive draws its inspiration from the heart of the Mediterranean and traditional beauty tips. Virgin olive oil cold pressed is known for its beneficial properties. It nourishes the hair fiber and restores hair from roots to tips. The products have been formulated to deliver optimal performance. The shampoo and the conditioner leave hair light, smooth and shiny. The intensive and rich mask restores hair and leaves it silky.
