A chartered management accountant, David has extensive finance, risk and operations experience within the logistics sector and has held a number of senior roles with national and international logistics companies. David will sit on the Abbey Group Board and will oversee the finance, corporate development, risk and commercial legal functions. He will be tasked with helping Abbey achieve its 2020 vision of becoming the UK's leading bulk liquid and powder transport company, offering best in class service and excellent value. Abbey Logistics Group has announced two new appointments to strengthen its senior team. Respected logistics industry expert Andrew Palmer has joined the group as non-executive director, and experienced marketing professional Michael Fox will take up the role of Group Marketing Manager. Andrew was Managing Director at Bibby Distribution, and DTS Logistics before joining Suttons Group where he successfully led the company into new markets, significantly growing the business and its portfolio of customers. Michael Fox has worked within business to business marketing and communications for the past ten years, most recently in the supply chain sector. He will take responsibility for the planning, management and execution of Abbey's marketing strategies, working closely with the company's commercial teams, external suppliers and expanding client base.
