SADA Systems Announces Cloud-Based Solution to Aid Organizations Affected by the Postini Transition to Google Apps for Work
Sep 18 14
SADA Systems announced a cloud-based solution to aid organizations affected by the Postini transition to Google Apps for Work: Large Attachment Migration (LAM) Tool. Organizations using Postini as an email security and archiving solution are in process of having these services moved to either Google Apps for Work, a professional suite of collaboration tools, or Google Apps Vault, an eDiscovery and archiving solution for email. LAM to Google Vault gives organizations transitioning from Postini to Google Vault an effective, streamlined solution to migrate their email data securely to Google Vault. Google Vault does not accept attachments larger than 25MB by default - by using LAM to Google Vault, organizations that typically deal with large email attachments can have attachments over 25MB be supported within Google Vault. LAM to Google Vault allows organizations to seamlessly migrate large email attachments into a private, discoverable cloud-based archive. Hosted in Google App Engine, LAM to Google Vault is 100% cloud-based and features built-in retention limits enabling organizations to keep data as needed or archive files no longer in use. LAM to Google Vault helps eliminate the costs associated with local storage and facilitates efficient eDiscovery, information governance and compliance activities.
