Uline, Inc. Key Developments

Uline Inc. to Open New Office Building

Uline Inc. announced that the company plans to begin construction this spring on a new office building near its Pleasant Prairie corporate headquarters after receiving final local approval for the project. The company will develop a 284,260-square-foot office building and related site improvements on 37 acres along the west I-94 frontage road, south of Highway Q. The new three-story building will be similar to the existing corporate headquarters at 12575 Uline Drive. That building is located northwest of the development site. The preliminary plans were approved in March. Construction is expected to be completed in August 2017. Uline expects to initially have 500 people at the new office building, with that number eventually growing to 800 employees. The new office building will accommodate the continued growth of the company, which is owned by Richard and Elizabeth Uihlein. Uline also is building a second 1.1 million-square-foot warehouse on Uline Drive, west of Uline's existing distribution center, with Highway U to the west and Highway Q to north. That building, including 23,000 square feet of two-story office space, will be completed early this year, according to general contractor Mortenson Corp.
