IGS Energy Announces Opening of Third Compressed Natural Gas Fueling Station for Vehicles in West Virginia

IGS Energy announced that it is opening its third compressed natural gas fueling station for vehicles in West Virginia. IGS also has a station in Dublin, Ohio, and is opening another in May in Girard, Ohio. Surging production has the gas industry seeking out new markets for its products, and companies are focusing more on the transportation sector. They tout natural gas as a cheaper, cleaner alternative to gasoline and diesel. In addition to West Virginia and Ohio, IGS Energy has long-term plans to open natural gas fueling stations in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Kentucky.

IGS Plans to Build Additional Stations in Charleston and Jane Lew

The newest compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station in the state is now in operation. Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin joined executives from IGS Energy-CNG Services and other dignitaries for the official opening of the station in Harrison County. The "On The Run" Exxon gas station in Bridgeport represents the first in the IGS network of proposed public CNG fueling stations. IGS has announced plans to build additional stations in Charleston and Jane Lew.
