BBA Reportedly In Talks To Acquire Landmark Aviation

The Carlyle Group LP (NasdaqGS:CG) backed Landmark Aviation, L.L.C. may be acquired. According to sources close to the matter, BBA Aviation plc (LSE:BBA) (BBA) is in talks to acquire Landmark Aviation that could be valued at more than $2 billion, including debt. People stated that sale process for Landmark Aviation has attracted several bidders, including buyout firms. The news report added that sources sought anonymity, while BBA Aviation and Carlyle declined to comment and Landmark Aviation did not respond to a request for comment. Landmark Aviation has been exploring a sale.

Carlyle Reportedly Looking To Sell Landmark Aviation

The Carlyle Group LP (NasdaqGS:CG) has been exploring a sale of Landmark Aviation, L.L.C. for as much as $1.7 billion, according to people familiar with the matter. Carlyle initially looked at selling Landmark via a stock market listing but in the past few months has broadened out that process to include a possible outright sale. Carlyle declined to comment. Representatives for Landmark did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
