Dedeman Announces to Open Two New Stores in June 2017

Dedeman announced that it will open two new stores in June, following a total investment of €47.5 million ($53.3 million). The store in Baneasa area, in northern Bucharest, will be inaugurated on June 14, 2017 following an investment of €36 million. It spreads on an area of more than 30,000 sq m and employs some 280 people. The second store located in Hunedoara, in western Romania, will be opened on June 16, 2017. Dedeman had invested €11.5 million in the store which spreads on 12,500 sq m. For now, the Hunedoara store employs 168. The new stores will increase the number of Dedeman outlets in Romania to 47 stores.

Owner Of Dedeman Reportedly Close To Signing Largest Ever Deal In The Romanian Office Segment

Owner of S.C. Dedeman S.R.L. is reportedly close to signing an agreement with Africa Israel Investments for the acquisition of an office building project in Bucharest, in a transaction estimated at €164 million, Ziarul Financiar reported on May 23, 2017 quoting unnamed market sources.

Dedeman to Open its First Store in Oradea

Dedeman announced that it will open on September 2, 2016 its first store in Oradea, in the northwestern part of the country, following an investment of EUR 14 million. The store has an area of more than 13,000 sq m and employs over 200. The new store opening brings Dedeman's network in Romania to 44 stores. The retailer plans to expand its network to 50 outlets in the long term.
