Sago Mini Announces the Launch of Sago Mini World
May 25 17
Sago Mini is launching a new experience for preschoolers worldwide. Sago Mini World brings the full collection of Sago Mini games, plus all future releases, together in one easy-to-navigate app – allowing kids to explore, create and discover through play. Designed from a kid's perspective, Sago Mini World provides endless storytelling opportunities for curious kids. Whether little ones want to explore space, fly through a forest, be a superhero, drive a firetruck, design a monster or build a robot, they'll find these experiences and more in one of the many full-length games, each designed for kids aged two to five. Tested by kids. Loved by kids and parents. Sago Mini's team of designers, developers, builders and artists work with young playtesters and their parents to test each app – and don't stop until they get belly laughs. With 2 million active users each month, these weekly playtests are important – they give Sago Mini a chance to work directly with kids and parents, creating high-quality apps built for kids' innate play patterns. Sago Mini World came out a winner with kids and parents, who were both fans of the intuitive and easy-to-navigate app. Parents loved the attention to detail, whimsical artwork and sound design, composed by Sago Mini's in-house sound designer. And kids loved new Sago Mini Mail – correspondence from their favourite characters was a special surprise! Learning Through Play: The natural curiosity and active play patterns of preschoolers were what inspired the open-ended model of Sago Mini games. With no stressful time limits or rules, and many opportunities for storytelling and creative expression, kids are free to explore and create on their own terms. With all 20+ games in one friendly menu, kids can navigate between their favourite games in one safe space. With no hidden purchases or third-party advertising, and offline play for pre-downloaded games, the focus stays on pure fun. The 20+ games in Sago Mini World include fan-favourites like Road Trip, Babies and Planes, plus new releases Puppy Preschool and Town. Sago Mini Mail will also debut on the app, an exclusive new feature that lets kids correspond with Harvey, Jinja, Robin and Jack as they share postcards of their daily adventures. Parents can sign up for Sago Mini World now, commitment free, for $4.49 per month or $35.99 per year. Accessible on multiple devices and offline, kids can take fun on the go – perfect for road trips and plane rides! Members will also get early first access to all new games and releases with their subscription.
Sago Mini Releases Fall Product Line
Oct 13 16
Sago Mini unveils its fall product line, including two new Portable Playsets, a floor Puzzle Mat, the Tuck Me In Quilt, and a series of board books. Thoughtfully designed for both kids and parents, Sago Mini's toys will capture kids' imaginations, offering endless possibilities for role playing and creativity. New Portable Playsets: Harvey's Spaceship and Jack's Diner, are perfect for play on the go — the pieces fit neatly inside, they fold up and can be secured with the attached band. The carrying handle also empowers kids to take their fun on the go. Harvey's Spaceship includes a Harvey figurine along with six fun accessories. Jack's Diner includes everything from a classic diner — booth seating, a jukebox, take-out window and washroom. There are 10 fun accessories, offering everything needed to serve up something yummy with friends Jack the rabbit and Dennis the octopus. Tuck Me In Quilt: Sago Mini partnered with renowned textile designer, Libs Elliott to create a beautiful, play inspired quilt for kids. Built-in pockets let children tuck their stuffed animals into bed, tell them stories and kiss them goodnight before going to sleep themselves, encouraging a consistent and fun bedtime routine. Even the packaging is playful — each quilt comes in a box that transforms into a cardboard bed to play with. It also includes four Sago Mini Plush: Jinja the Cat, Harvey the Dog, Robin the Bird and Jack the Rabbit. Robin's Roadtrip reimagines the classic foam floor mats for kids ages three and up. The tiles connect in hundreds of configurations so kids can customize their own road trip. Some tiles include pop-up features to bring the environment to life. The puzzle mat includes a Robin the bird figurine, road trip accessories and a toy car to drive along the 12 foam mat tiles. Just like all Sago Mini packaging, there's a surprise inside — the box transforms into a cardboard car to take for a spin! The series of original storybooks features four books, Jinja's Surprise, Cozy Christmas: A Touch-And-Feel-Book, Wake and Sleep, and More Hugs. Each book stars the beloved Sago Mini characters and is beautifully designed to let kids interact with Jinja the cat, Harvey the dog, Robin the bird, Jack the rabbit, and Hugbot in all new ways.
