Polaroid Debuts Polaroid iZone, Ultra-Portable Optical Zoom Wi-Fi Camera At CES

Polaroid unveiled the Polaroid iZone, a compact optical zoom, Wi-Fi connected camera designed to be the ultimate companion to IOS or Android device with great image quality and built-in flash for easy, on-the-go, instant photography. The Polaroid iZone camera will be on display in the Polaroid Booth #13614 at the 2015 International CES. Produced by Sakar International, an authorized Polaroid licensee, the Polaroid iZone camera is the perfect way to capture better quality images with a smartphone. Just pair with any IOS or Android device using the built-in Wi-Fi, then use the smartphone as a viewfinder to line up the perfect shot in real time. Once paired, users can save the images taken with the Polaroid iZone camera directly to the smartphone, bypassing the 32 MB internal memory of the camera. With its impressive 8X optical zoom, 18 megapixel resolution, built-in tripod mount and tiny form factor, the Polaroid iZone camera is the perfect way to capture amazing new angles with better image quality and more zoom capability than most smartphone cameras on the market. Additionally, once users have captured the perfect image, since it is on the smartphone already, it is easy to share it online with any social media network. The Polaroid iZone camera is expected in-store this spring for $179.99, just in time for capturing spring break and summer vacation memories.

Polaroid Announces Launch of Polaroid Zip Mobile Printer

Polaroid announced that it is now offering that same sharing experience to mobile generation, with the launch of the Polaroid Zip mobile printer. The PolaroidZip mobile printer pairs wirelessly to any smartphone or tablet and using a dedicated mobile app available for both iOS or Android, will allow users to instantly print 2x3 inch color photos from virtually any image on their Apple or android device. Engineered To Fit In A Pocket, Designed To Fit All Lifestyles: Approximately the size of a smartphone, the PolaroidZip mobile printer weighs just 186g (0.41lbs) and can be taken anywhere. The device measures 2.91 x 4.72, just less than one inch thick and boasts a striking high-gloss finish augmented by the iconic Polaroid Color Spectrum logo. Despite its wealth of features, the only physical control is a power button which has been seamlessly integrated into the unitâ s boldly simple design. The Polaroid Zip mobile printer features a free app for iOS and Android and connects to mobile devices via Bluetooth 4.0 or NFC. These dedicated apps are full-featured and give users the ability to truly express their creativity and enhance their prints. Users can capture a photo or select and edit an image from their gallery, applying a wide range of creative filters, effects and controls, including: Enhancements to brightness, contrast, saturation and tint as well as 12 color filters including sepia, retro and HDR; a collage mode that allows users to feature up to 9 images on one single print; the ability to draw in various colors using the paint mode as well as the use of frames, stickers, stamps, emojis and animations to make the image stand out; a unique business card creator allows users to choose from several templates and add in their image and personal info for a creative leave behind; the option to make edits private and only viewable using the appâ s secret view mode. Secret view will print the original photo with an individual QR code that, when scanned, will reveal the final image complete with add-ons and creative effects. ZINK Zero Ink Printing: The new Polaroid Zip mobile printer uses the revolutionary ink-free Zero Ink Printing technology developed by ZINK Imaging. The key to the ink-free system is the patented ZINK Paper®, an advanced composite material embedded with cyan, yellow and magenta dye crystals and with a protective polymer overcoat. Before printing, the dye crystals are colorless making ZINK Paper® look like regular white photo paper. The ZINK-enabled Printer uses heat to activate and colorize these crystals. The result is full-color, high quality, long-lasting and smudge-proof images without ink cartridges, ribbons or toner. The 2X3 inch photo prints in just under a minute so consumers can share that physical photo with their friends and family. Additionally, because the ZINK paper is adhesive backed the photo can be used as a sticker as well. The Polaroid Zip mobile printer includes an internal, rechargeable lithium-ion battery that is capable of printing up to 25 ZINK photos on a single charge.

Polaroid Debuts Peer-to-Peer Wi-Fi Enabled Line of Ultra High Optical Zoom Bridge Cameras at CES 2014

Polaroid launched a new line of ultra high optical zoom Wi-Fi enabled bridge cameras at the 2014 International CES. The built-in Wi-Fi enables instant peer-to-peer sharing of photos and videos--simply connect to user's smartphone or tablet and share images and movies from user's camera directly with friends, family or social media. The family of easy-to-use cameras feature the optical zoom capabilities designed to fit any need and budget from a 50X optical zoom (iE5036W), 40X (iE4038W), 35X (Ixx353W) and 30X optical zoom (iE3035W). Produced by Sakar International, an authorized Polaroid licensee, all four models deliver ultra high optical zoom capabilities, quality images, and have the ease and convenience of a smartphone, making it fast and simple for everyone to capture outstanding photos with minimal fuss. The 18 MP resolution and HD video capability are ideal for recording every precious memory as it happens with legendary Polaroid imaging quality. Each of the new Polaroid cameras feature a large, bright 3" high-resolution LCD screen to help users set up, preview and review their perfect shot, and built-in image controls allow more advanced users to customize settings to add a creative touch to any photo or high-definition video. A powerful pop-up flash with red-eye reduction provides just the right light for any situation. An SD card slot provides media on-board storage. The new Wi-Fi instant peer-to-peer sharing cameras are expected to hit store shelves this spring, at an MSRP ranging from $149 for the 30X model to $299 for the 50X.
