Zentera Systems Introduces Infrastructure Security Solution for the Multicloud
Feb 7 17
Zentera Systems, Inc. announced the infrastructure security solution for the multicloud, delivering workload isolation, shield, and filtering to secure enterprise production workloads in the multicloud. Zentera's CoIP® (Cloud over IP®) platform, with integration APIs, enables integration partners—including some of security providers—to run their capabilities (ex. IPS/IDS solutions) in clouds such as AWS, Azure and Oracle Cloud. As a result, enterprises can benefit from the same leading security protecting their networks to protect their workloads migrated to the cloud. In addition, security companies can become the end-to-end security vendor of choice for companies on-premise and across the cloud. By combining third-party security engines with its multicloud service isolation and shield, CoIP gives enterprises a complete solution. This industry-first solution directly addresses a critical industry need preventing widespread adoption of the cloud – merging on-premise security functionality with cloud workloads and applications. CoIP is an on-demand virtual network overlay that provides multicloud security and networking together with network encryption, microsegmentation and application whitelisting. It is transport- and cloud-agnostic in its design, supporting virtual machines (VMs), containers and compute endpoints, and can be deployed rapidly without interfering with existing infrastructure or security measures. Zentera's CoIP is available February 7, 2017 for security solution providers.
Kalray Inc. Announces Technology Partnership with Zentera Systems, Inc
Jan 3 17
Kalray Inc. announced its partnership with Zentera Systems, Inc., to benefit organizations in extending IT infrastructure to the cloud with enterprise-grade security. Zentera has selected Kalray to provide the basic software modules for implementing algorithmic offloading functions. APIs enable transparent acceleration for either OpenSSL or IPsec stack. Kalray also offers software acceleration engines implemented on the MPPA® high-speed I/O processor.
Zentera Systems Launches First True Cloud Security Overlay Solution Delivering Third-Party Security Capabilities to the Cloud
Dec 1 16
Zentera Systems, Inc. launched the first true cloud security overlay solution that delivers third-party security capabilities to the cloud. Integration partners can now offer their security features throughout the multicloud to their customers. As a result, security companies can become the end-to-end security vendor of choice for organizations on-premise and across the cloud, and can offer new cloud security services to attract new customers. Third-party security engines are typically limited to physical datacenters and provide little benefit in the cloud. This major obstacle, an aspect of cloud visibility, discourages enterprises from migrating security-sensitive applications to cloud environments. Zentera's CoIP® (Cloud over IP®) platform, with its new integration APIs, enables security companies to offer their on-premise security services in the cloud. As organizations look to merge their on-premise security functionality with their cloud workloads and applications, CoIP is the industry's first solution to address this unmet industry need and address the challenges that prevent widespread production use of the cloud. CoIP is an on-demand virtual network overlay that provides multicloud security and networking together with network encryption, microsegmentation and application whitelisting. CoIP's architecture is more effective and efficient than conventional edge-to-edge architecture because CoIP is non-interfering with existing infrastructure and existing enterprise security. CoIP is transport- and cloud-agnostic in its design, supporting virtual machines (VMs), containers and compute endpoints, and can be deployed rapidly. Zentera's CoIP APIs are available immediately for security solution providers.
