Dailymotion announced three appointments within its executive committee. Amandine Ferre leaves Canal Plus Overseas to take on the role of Chief Financial Officer. Stephanie Fraise becomes Chief People Officer, moving from her position as Sales director at Canal Plus group. Laetitia Menase joins the General Counsel, while retaining her position as Legal Affairs director at Canal Plus group. All three will report to Maxime Saada, Chairman and CEO of Dailymotion.
Russian Authorities Order Dailymotion to Block Video Website

Russian authorities have ordered Dailymotion after a reality TV station complained of copyright infringement. A Moscow court approved the demand by the Piatnitsa channel to block Dailymotion on Russian territory on December 2, 2016. The site was still accessible but the blockage could be put in place by the end of the week.Dailymotion had repeatedly featured clips of the most-watched programmes on Piatnitsa, a channel that specialises in reality shows, adding that Dailymotion's French owner Vivendi did not appeal the ruling within the time limit to stop the shutdown going ahead.
HiMedia Announces Partnership with Dailymotion

HiMedia is announcing the agreement signed with Dailymotion that will allow it to sell, non-exclusively, the video aggregation and sharing platform's video and display advertising inventory in 3 countries of Southern Europe. The HiMedia teams in Italy, Spain and Portugal will market Dailymotion's non-programming inventory to advertisers and advertising firms, while supplementing the site's internal teams.
