Trimble and K-Tec Earthmovers Introduce Trimble Ready Factory Option for Scrapers

Trimble and K-Tec Earthmovers Inc. announced the introduction of a Trimble Ready factory option for K-Tec Scrapers. Scrapers that ship from the factory are now ready to install the Trimble® GCS900 2D or 3D Grade Control System, which can significantly reduce the cost for the contractor. The Trimble Ready K-Tec Scraper includes an enhanced joystick, a computer software upgrade, wiring harnesses and brackets, allowing a more seamless installation. The Trimble Ready option for K-Tec Scrapers is available now on 2017 models worldwide through K-Tec's dealer network.

K-Tec Expands into Land Leveler Market

K-Tec Earthmovers have released a new line of land levelers to expand the company's product offering to earthmoving contractors and land forming professionals. The K-Tec land leveler has been designed for maintaining haul roads, precision site leveling, and field drainage. K-Tec's heavy duty land levelers range in size between 10 and 28 feet widths. Various advancements are included as standard features such as walking axle, single simplistic tilt, depth level gauge, and LED light package. A unique moldboard curve design enables superior rolling of dirt. The units are also compatible with dual GPS/laser for precision grading work. The models come in either a Rigid frame, or a Flex hitch design. The Flex models enable the folding back of the hitchpole for a legal road transportation widths of under 8.5 to transport the leveler between jobsites. Ranging from 10 “28 ft wide, K-Tec land leveler is designed for maintaining haul roads, precision site leveling, and field drainage. Standard features include walking axle; single, simplistic tilt; depth level gauge; and LED light package. Also compatible with dual GPS/laser for precision grading work, lever features moldboard curve design that optimizes rolling of dirt. Models come in Rigid frame or Flex hitch designs. Latter enables folding back of hitchpole for legal road transportation.
