The base ordering period is 3 years plus one 2-year option, for a total ordering period of up to 5 years. Under this contract, EA will provide a broad range of remedial action services for Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste remediation projects in support of existing and future customers within the Northwestern Division of USACE and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 2. Federal programs to be supported include Defense Environmental Restoration Program, including Installation Restoration Program and Formerly Used Defense Sites; EPA Superfund; Department of Defense Environmental Quality Program; Brownfields; Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program; and Base Realignment and Closure. In addition, under this contract, EA may be called upon to provide environmental services and construction activities to the Department of Homeland Security and Federal Emergency Management Agency in response to a natural disaster or terrorist incident.
