Campus Living Villages Pty Limited Key Developments

Campus Living To Sell Global Portfolio

Campus Living Villages Pty Limited intends to sell global portfolio. Campus Living is moving towards a potential sale of its $2 billion global portfolio as it fields interest from the world's largest private equity and real estate investment houses. UBS is assessing three options for Campus Living with a formal process to be launched in September. DataRoom reported that UBS had been called in earlier 2016 and Campus Living is now considering an outright sale, a recapitalization that would retain some of the company's current superannuation fund investors, or a capital injection. The transaction would see The Retail Employees Superannuation Trust, HOSTPLUS Superannuation Fund, Equipsuper Superannuation Fund, Catholic Superannuation Fund and NGS Super exit entirely, or perhaps -retain a smaller exposure to the operation. Aside from an outright sale a split of the assets may also be considered but industry players said that global real estate giants would have a first look at the entire business, as it is considered one of the best operators in the world. A number of approaches have reportedly been received including Blackstone and Greystar, property executives suggested.
