ASE Group Establishes Competence Center in Partnership with SAP

The Atomstroyexport (ASE) group of companies and SAP have signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of the lifecycle management of nuclear power facilities. The parties will establish a Center of Competence for Engineering Automation. The main goal of the future Centre is to implement technologies such as asset lifecycle management, computer-aided training and big data analytics into the process of the capital construction of nuclear power plants (NPP) and other capital construction facilities. All the technologies named are combined by the concept of a digital NPP which focuses on a unified information space to manage the NPP lifecycle from the stage of construction until decommissioning. All the data about the progress of designing, construction and later operations are stored in connection with a 3D-model and updated on-line based on the information from line-of-business applications and other systems.

JSC Atomstroyexport reported earnings results for the year 2016. The company reported net profits to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) almost halve to RUB 6.5 billion in 2016 from RUB 12.8 billion in 2015. The company's revenue fell 7.4% to RUB 81.1 billion.

Atomstroyexport Wins Orgenergostroy Contract to Design Construction and Mounting Base for the Bushehr NPP Phase II

Atomstroyexport has awarded Orgenergostroy a contract to design the construction and mounting base for the Bushehr Phase II nuclear power plant project in Iran. The contract is worth RUB 89 million ($1.2 million) and is to be completed by the end of 2016.
