Simon Møkster Shipping announced that on December 2, 2016, the company signed a call-off contract with ENI Norge for newest vessel Stril Mar. The call-off period is 13 months + options. The first part of the contract starts around the 19th of December in Hammerfest and is for approx. 60 days. The vessel will assist the Scarabeo 8 during exploration and production drilling in the Barents Sea. The vessel has a high specification and it can provide several services. It will be a part of the oil spill preparedness as it has NOFO 2009 class, it will also provide standby duties when needed, supply duties and FiFi services. In addition the vessel has DE-ICE class and last but not least Ice 1C class.
Stril Mariner and Aker BP Announce Extension of the Contract for Stril Mariner

Simon Mokster Shipping AS and Aker BP have agreed upon a one year extension of the contract for Stril Mariner. The vessel is NOFO 2009 certified and it's oil recovery Equipment (transrec, booms and skimmers) is embedded and sheltered. The vessel is also equipped with a Daughter Craft in order to conduct oil spill recovery operations on their own. In addition the vessel is equipped with a oil detection radar and dispersant Equipment. Stril Mariner also has stand by certificate and FIFI equipment, which also is a part of the Area field support preparedness. A water maker is installed onboard making the vessel capable to produce water to the different Aker BP installations. As the vessel is a developed platform Supply vessel it also has a large deck area for transportation of deck cargo and a under deck capacities for Brine, Mud, Fuel and special products.
Simon Møkster Shipping Signs Contract with ENI Norge for its Newest Vessel Stril Mar

Simon Møkster Shipping, has signed a contract with ENI Norge for its newest vessel Stril Mar. The contract is for a period of 65 days with a 30 day option and it starts June 3, 2016. The vessel will assist the Scarabeo 8 at Aurelia field located about 140 nautical miles north west of Hammerfest. It was selected due to its high specifications and the several services it can provide. It will be apart of the oilspill preperdness as it has NOFO 2015 class, it will also provide standby duties, supply duties and FiFi services. In addition the vessel has DE-ICE class and last but not least Ice 1C class which ENI Norge demanded.
