Tauriga Sciences Inc. provided its shareholders with an update on the status of its ongoing federal lawsuit against its predecessor audit firm Cowan Gunteski & Co. PA (Cowan Gunteski). This case is titled "Tauriga Sciences Inc. v. Cowan, Gunteski & Co., P.A. et al and is being tried in Federal District Court of New Jersey; Case No. 15-CV-62334. The Court has set up a Status Conference for January 19, 2017 before Magistrate Judge Douglas E. Arpert. At the Conference, it is expected that the parties will be assigned a new trial date. Tauriga Sciences Inc. announced that it has filed two motions with the Federal Court (Southern District Florida) to both compel the Deposition of Mr. William Meyler and the Written Discover Materials to be Provided by Cowan Gunteski & Co. P.A., the company's predecessor audit firm. These motions, which were filed by the company on August 29, 2016, are to be considered by the presiding judge and magistrate pursuant to the federal lawsuit 'Tauriga Sciences Inc. v. Cowan, Gunteski & Co., P.A. et al' (Case #: 0:15-cv-62334). This lawsuit (Case #: 0:15-cv-62334) against Cowan Gunteski was initially filed by the company on November 4, 2015 and subsequent to that there was a lengthy mediation process. At this point in time, the company has realized out of pocket cash losses and debts (inclusive of liquidated damages) that exceed USD 1,200,000. In recent activity, Judge Rosenberg denied the August 23, 2016 Motion filed by Cowan Gunteski: 'MOTION for Protective Order Seeking a Stay of Discovery Pending Resolution of Defendants' Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Personal Jurisdiction or in the Alternative to Transfer for Improper Venue'. The company was pleased with this ruling as it helped ensure that the discovery and litigation will proceed regardless of the final location of the trial.

On April 18, 2016, Cowan, Gunteski & Co., P.A. the independent registered public accounting firm of Royal Bakery Holdings, Inc. notified the company that it had transferred its SEC practice to MSPC Certified Public Accountants and Advisors P.C., and that as a result of such transfer, Cowan had in effect resigned as the company’s independent registered public accounting firm and MSPC became the company’s independent registered public accounting firm. On May 5, 2016, the board of directors of the company recommended and approved engagement of MSPC as the company’s new independent registered public accounting firm.
