Taiwan Hon Chuan Selects Sacmi's IPS 400 Machine

Taiwan Hon Chuan has selected Sacmi's IPS 400 injection preform moulding machine to manufacture PET performs. Sacmi, as part of an agreement signed in May 2016, will supply its three complete 96-cavity IPS 400 lines to boost production capacity for Taiwanese firm. The first 400 IPS is planned to be delivered in Taiwan Hon Chuan's Taichung plant in November 2016 followed by the other two systems during 2017. The high-performance solution will be utilized by the firm to produce PET preforms using injection technology. Taiwan Hon Chuan owns has several facilities and branches throughout South-East Asia and in the Chinese mainland. The new IPS can also be integrated with advanced preform vision system (PVS) developed by the Automation & Service Division in order to ensure total, ultra-high speed quality control of preforms directly on the line. The IPS 220 version, the previous version of IPS 400, includes the compatibility of the IPS 400 with existing and competitor-made moulds. Last month, Iranian firm Khoshform has selected Sacmi's IPS 400 machine to manufacture PET performs. It is planned to be installed at the Iranian firm's Mashad facility by the end of 2016.
