Accela Announces Executive Appointments

Accela announced the appointment of three industry veterans to newly created executive roles within the company, including Jay Colfer as Chief Revenue Officer, Troy Coggiola as Chief Product Officer and Srini Kakkera as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Accela announced the appointment of Ed Daihl as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Effective immediately, Daihl will join Accela's executive team to lead the next phase of growth for the company. Mark Jung, former acting CEO and Chairman, will remain with Accela as Executive Chairman to help focus on strategic growth opportunities for Accela's market leading cloud platform. As CEO, Ed Daihl brings four decades of government, SaaS and systems integration experience to Accela. Most recently, Daihl served as Senior Vice President for Epicor, where he managed a P&L of ERP and retail software solutions spanning 5,000+ clients in 11 international markets. From 2006 to 2014, Daihl served as CEO for Surgical Information Systems (SIS).

Accela, Inc. announced that Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County, Indiana has selected Accela Environmental Health on the Accela Civic Platform to help move several of its departments to a single platform, which will increase efficiency and interdepartment information sharing to improve processes that will directly impact the County's citizens. FutureNet Group, an Accela partner, will facilitate the implementation of the Accela Civic Platform for Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County. With Accela Environmental Health, Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County will not only increase interdepartment communication and transparency but will also be able to provide a public-facing portal for sharing information with its citizens and access to dashboards to track relevant information and status updates.
