Stena Line and MacGregor Renew Maintenance Agreement for 39 Roro Vessels
Dec 16 16
MacGregor has renewed a planned maintenance agreement to include 39 roll-on /roll-off (RoRo) vessels, operated by Stena Line. As part of the renewed MacGregor Onboard Care (MOC) agreement, major equipments from MacGregor and some other manufacturers installed on Stena Line's vessel will be maintained. During the maintenance, remedial measures are expected to be used to rectify a problem with minimal impact on availability of the ferry service. The new deal also includes annual inspections, condition surveys, spare parts stock inventories and basic equipment adjustments. Designed to meet the requirements of various operators, the deal covers ferries operating under Stena Line Scandinavia, Stena Line and Northern Marine Ferries. The contracted ferries are currently sailing on 22 routes in the Baltic Sea, North Sea, the English Channel and the Irish Sea.
