Fadata has decided to increase its investment in the Nordic region through the launch of its new office in Stockholm. The Stockholm office will assist Fadata in servicing its customers and partners in the region and expand its global footprint globally. The decision to expand the office follows Fadata's acquisition by the Riverside Company and Charles Taylor comes after the opening of its new headquarters in London in a bid to expand its international footprint.
Following the move, Michael Staack has been appointed as Fadata's sales director for the Nordic region and has 25 years of experience in the fintech and insurance industries having previously held roles at Nordic AB and TIA Technology.
Fadata Appoints Karl Lawless as Sales Director

Fadata announced the appointment of Karl Lawless as Sales director. He joins Fadata to increase UK market share; he will be responsible for leading sales activities across all sectors, including General Insurance, Life and Health. He will work closely with ceo, John Macdonald, to build on Fadata's UK client base and take the company's UK presence to the next level. Lawless has over 15 years' experience of working in insurance and FinTech, having started out as an underwriter before moving into business development. During his career, he has held a range of management positions at Zurich, Chubb, Salesforce and Sapiens. His experience of being both client-side and acting as service provider in the insurance industry will be particularly pertinent to his new role at Fadata. He will be based in London and report directly to John Macdonald.
Fadata Secures Licensing Deal for INSIS Product

Fadata has won its first UK customer for its INSIS product. INSIS is a flexible, modular software package that provides a complete insurance management solution to life, general and health insurers. Charles Taylor has selected INSIS to use in its international client servicing business. INSIS provides a solution that meets all of Charles Taylor's business requirements 'out of the box' and is able to offer seamless integration across its global client base. INSIS was selected for its functionality and flexibility, rapid implementation and exceptional return on investment. Fadata UK will be supporting Charles Taylor InsureTech, the Group's insurance technology business, during the implementation. The first implementation of INSIS is expected to be completed during 2016 and will be for one of Charles Taylor's new life insurance clients. Charles Taylor plans to roll out INSIS to service its other clients in the future.
