CardCash.com announced that it has entered into a partnership agreement with InComm. The relationship will allow CardCash to integrate its online gift card exchange with thousands of InComm's retail partner locations across the country. Teaming up with the prepaid industry leader provides an unbelievable boost to the business and gives customers the opportunity to unlock even more value from their unused gift cards. CardCash.com provides a simple and secure online exchange that helps consumers convert their unused cards into cash for as much as 97% of face value. Those in the market for gift cards, meanwhile, can buy credit to top national brands at a discount as high as 40%.

InComm Launches Platform for Mobile Wallet Providers

InComm announced the launch of InComm Mobile Platform (IMP) for mobile wallet providers and merchants. IMP integrates with multiple platforms to provide a full-breadth of capabilities required to process mobile payments made using prepaid cards at retail POS. The platform also enables InComm to develop and host mobile applications for merchants and partners. Canadian communications and media company Rogers is the first company to leverage IMP for development of the recently launched suretap(TM) wallet. IMP supports consumer payments based on Near Field Communication (NFC) at the retail POS and account top-up through traditional credit and debit cards. Through a technology partnership, InComm created a Service Provider Trusted Services Manager (TSM) solution, allowing prepaid card information to securely pass from the issuing platform and then be provisioned on mobile devices. The InComm Mobile Platform acts as the hub for all inbound and outbound messaging requests related to the prepaid products in a mobile wallet. This includes integrations to InComm's internal systems and more than seven partner systems for switching and processing a wide array of transactions, including card provisioning, card reloads, buying and sending digital cards, and many other traditional consumer functions. The platform provides a wide array of reporting services for billing, reconciliation and customer analytics, and because it was built with a highly configurable use case orchestration system and business rules engine, it can easily adapt to changing market demands. Further, InComm provides prepaid card processing that manages the balances and transactions of card accounts. The prepaid processing platform supports the creation of prepaid debit card accounts, the generation of track data, the funding of accounts, balance inquiries and transaction history. InComm also provides fraud management services for monitoring unusual activity and addressing potential issues. InComm Mobile Platform Benefits Include: Configurable functions, Interchangeable partner systems, Transaction routing, NFC enablement, NFC card provisioning and Credit/debit card provisioning.

InComm Enters into Partnership with Money Online

InComm has entered into an exclusive arrangement with Money Online (MOL) to launch point-of-sale-activated (POSA) gift card mall solutions in Southeast Asia. InComm and MOL are targeting a mid-2014 launch with the first POSA cards to be available in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. InComm's POSA technology allows retailers to activate prepaid cards at the point-of-sale, eliminating the risk and cumbersome control procedures required for maintaining an inventory of value-bearing cards. The technology also allows prepaid cards to be displayed for sale with a reduced risk of theft and shrinkage. Using this POSA technology, card issuers also have the valuable opportunity to leverage card design in marketing the cards.
