Fiat India to Launch Abarth Punto in October

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) will launch the Abarth Punto in India in October. Bookings for the new model has already begun in the country against a fully refundable down payment of INR 20,000 and the model is expected to be priced at INR 1 million. It will feature a 1.4-litre T-JET turbocharged petrol engine, capable of a maximum power of 145 bhp and 200-Nm torque. Along with this, it will also have a five-speed gearbox with the ability to clock 0-100 kmph in eight seconds. Some of the key cosmetic changes will include 16-inch dual-tone alloys, Abarth decals on sides, wing mirrors and grille in contrast accents, and Abarth logo instead of the current Fiat logo.

Fiat India Plans to Launch Limited Edition of Linea Elegante

Fiat India is planning to launch the limited edition of the Linea Elegante sedan. The model will be available in both petrol and diesel engines, a 1.3-litre Multi-jet diesel engine with a maximum power output of 91 bhp and a maximum torque of 209 Nm and a 1.4-litre T Jet petrol engine producing peak power of 110 bhp and a peak torque of 202 Nm. It has redesigned bumpers, a new front grille with black inserts, a rear spoiler and 15-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle is to be priced from around INR 1,000,000.

Fiat India Plans to Launch T-Jet Versions of Punto Evo and Avventura

Fiat India announced it is planning to launch the T-Jet versions of the Punto Evo and Avventura. The models are equipped with the T-Jet engine and will be similar to regular models in terms of design. They will feature T-Jet badging and a few alterations, including different patterns for the alloy wheels. The T-jet versions will be equipped with the same 1.4-litre T-jet engine from the Linea, modified to generate 135bhp of power.
