The updated model comes with new features including cruise control and dual stage airbags and is priced between INR 699,000 (USD 11,273) and INR 972,000 in New Delhi. The refresh equips the model with restyled grille and bumper, new fog lamps and restyled rear bumper. Biggest changes are in the interiors where the car now gets a thoroughly revised dashboard apart from two-tone beige and black colour scheme. The Linea is a crucial model for Fiat as it is one of the only two volume models the automaker sells in the country. Jeep has often been named as one of the many vehicles the group plans to bring in India from its global line-up. Given the preference for sport utility vehicles (SUVs) in India and Jeep's competitive standing in the segment, the brand is a good fit.
