MBK Partners is seeking to sell D’Live Co. which is undergoing debt rescheduling.

C&M To Sell System Operators

C&M Co., Ltd. is selling five system operators in Gangnam, Seocho, Guro, Yongsan and East Seoul in a package deal. C&M owns a total of 17 system operators in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province and resolved to sell five of them. The combined sale price is estimated at a mid to late KRW 500 billion at a minimum.

C&M Reportedly Up For Sale

A consortium of MBK Partners, Mirae Asset Securities Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A037620) and Macquarie Group Limited (ASX:MQG) are reportedly planning to sell C&M Co., Ltd. up to $2.9 billion. Letters have been sent to other Korean cable TV firms encouraging them to bid for C&M, one person said, declining to be identified as the sale process was private. The companies will solicit offers for C&M over the coming weeks in order to completing the sale by the end of 2015. Goldman Sachs is advising MBK and Macquarie on the sale. A media representative for MBK declined comment. Macquarie did not have an immediate comment. A spokesman for C&M could not be immediately reached.
