Minor League Baseball Signs Strategic Partnership Deal with Crayola

Minor League Baseball (MiLB) has made an announcement on its formation of a strategic partnership deal with Crayola, allowing the latter to become a preferred partner of MiLB and its squads. As part of the newly signed agreement, select product packaging of Crayola will show the Minor League Baseball brand involving major retail players from next year. While Crayola plans to attract the family-centric followers of Minor League Baseball with its range of outdoor products during key retail months, the partners envision facilitating memorable experiences as one of the core aspects of the alliance. As part of the partnership, the two brands will organize a Crayola All-Star Experience Sweepstakes to give customers with the opportunity of obtaining unmatched access and an up close and personal exploration of MiLB. Besides, followers will be able to take part in other exclusive experiences at select ballparks. An integrated media strategy intended to connect Crayola to the growing base of the MiLB followers is also envisaged by the partners.

The electric-powered Air Marker Sprayer allows kids to create realistic-looking airbrush art for craft projects, school projects and more. Crayola Announces Management Changes

Crayola named Smith Holland as president and chief executive officer. Holland succeeds Mike Perry, who has led Crayola for six years and was named president of Hallmark Greetings, another company within corporate parent Hallmark. Perry, of Easton, joined Crayola in 2009 after serving as a Hallmark executive. Holland had been Crayola's chief financial officer and executive vice president. He came to Crayola in 2009 from Hallmark Canada, where he was president. Perry's last day with Crayola will be Sept. 24. As president and CEO, Holland has overall responsibility for Crayola's business and will provide strategic direction for the company and brand.
