Arecont Vision Releases SurroundVideo G5 Mini Panoramic Camera Series
Nov 28 16
Arecont Vision has expanded their popular SurroundVideo® panoramic indoor/outdoor camera series with fifth generation models that deliver important new features in a smaller size. These compact SurroundVideo G5 Mini cameras are the latest addition to the ground-breaking SurroundVideo multi-sensor panoramic family. SurroundVideo panoramic cameras provide four integrated lenses in either 180º or 360º configurations. The new SurroundVideo G5 Mini panoramic camera series delivers 12- and 20-megapixel (12 or 20MP) resolution at double the frame rate of previous models. The G5 Mini is also approximately 50% smaller than previous SurroundVideo models. In 2006, Arecont Vision pioneered the industry’s first multi-sensor panoramic megapixel cameras and has maintained its market leadership through continued innovation and development. Not only can a single, high definition SurroundVideo camera replace multiple pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) or fixed-view cameras, but it does so while enhancing video coverage and situational awareness. Even more important is that reducing the number of cameras through the use of SurroundVideo lessens both project costs and complexity. The SurroundVideo series is currently in its fifth generation, with tens of thousands of successful customer installations around the globe. SurroundVideo cameras are typically mounted on walls, ceilings, rooftops, corners, light poles, and emergency call boxes. SurroundVideo series cameras also offer advanced streaming capabilities. They are designed on the Arecont Vision highly efficient H.264 encoding platform to deliver high quality video without straining the network. Power can be supplied by either a single Power-over Ethernet (PoE) compliant network cable, or by an 18-48V
DC/24V AC power supply. The camera interface allows for intuitive, fast, and easy configuration, while the convenient AV IP Utility tool enables users to quickly configure or update one or multiple cameras simultaneously.
Arecont Vision Announces the Availability of MegaDome 4K/1080p Dual-Mode Indoor/Outdoor Dome Camera Series
Sep 12 16
Arecont Vision announced the availability of the MegaDome 4K/1080p dual-mode indoor/outdoor dome camera series. The MegaDome 4K camera is on display with many other exciting Arecont Vision megapixel cameras in booth #2027 at ASIS International 2016, held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from September 12th through the 14th. The MegaDome 4K camera is the latest member of the customer-proven Arecont Vision all-in-one MegaDome megapixel camera series. The dual-mode camera delivers a choice of full 8.3MP (3840x2160 megapixels) for 4K ultra-high resolution image quality at 30 fps (frames per second) or 1080p binned mode at 60 fps, to cover a wide range of project requirements. MegaDome 4K features a mechanical IR cut filter and IR LEDs for true day/night functionality. Binning mode (in 1080p) delivers strong low light performance. Moonligh mode provides extended exposure time and noise cancellation. The IR LEDs feature an adjustable beam angle and LED intensity for enhanced video in a wide variety of low light conditions. MegaDome 4K is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, featuring an IP-66 water/dust rating and an included IK-10 vandal resistant dome. MegaDome 4K is the first Arecont Vision camera to feature a unique new dome and enclosure system that reduces the time necessary for camera installation. Installation is further simplified by the easily adjustable 3-axis gimbal design on which the remote focus/zoom P-Iris lens is mounted to provide a wide range of coverage options.
