SaskWorks Venture Fund Inc. has announced that it has terminated its custodian relationship with CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services Company and signed a Custodian Agreement with Concentra Trust. The Fund will commence using Concentra Trust's services in June 2017. As part of the custodial relationship with Concentra Trust, the Fund also signed a Tax Credit Agreement with Concentra Trust and the Province of Saskatchewan.

CIBC Mellon announced that the company's Boards of Directors have selected Steve Wolff as the company's new President and Chief Executive Officer. Steve will take on his new role effective November 14, 2016, assuming responsibility for CIBC Mellon's strategy and performance. He will also join the Board of Directors for CIBC Mellon Trust Company. Mr. Wolff joins CIBC Mellon from the Nova Scotia Pension Services Corporation, which administers the pension benefits and investment assets of two of Nova Scotia's public sector pension plans. Mr. Wolff replaces Thomas S. Monahan, who announced in May 2016 he would retire after seven years of service, during which CIBC Mellon grew to CAD 1.6 trillion of assets under administration, launched and enhanced a number of solutions for institutional investors in Canada, strengthened its risk and governance regime, and earned a number of prestigious industry awards.

CIBC Mellon announced that it has been selected to provide asset servicing for Cygnus Investment Partners' (Cygnus) new set of alternative investment solutions. The Cygnus offering provides Canadian institutional and qualified individual investors with access to a global and diversified suite of KKR products through innovative structures featuring historically low minimums. CIBC Mellon will provide Cygnus with custody and safekeeping of client assets, foreign exchange processing and settlement, and investment information delivery.
