InfoVista Announces the Availability of Xeus Pro 5
Oct 16 14
InfoVista announced the availability of Xeus Pro 5. The latest version of InfoVista's call trace based RF optimization software allows mobile operators to more quickly and effectively analyze and troubleshoot RF network performance problems down to the individual user or cell level, and ensure a consistently high quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE). Mobile operators' RF engineers require highly-detailed network performance and usage reports to optimize the customer experience in the face of increasingly complex mobile networks and exponential data traffic growth driven by LTE and smartphones. With Xeus Pro 5, they no longer need to sift through data from multiple sources to quickly fix network performance issues, including in multi-technology and multi-vendor environments. Additionally, the new Smart Analysis feature makes it even easier to accurately identify call trace root causes of dropped or blocked calls, as well as poor downlink quality, thus eliminating tedious and labor intensive root cause analysis process usually part of the optimization workflow. With this subscriber-aware network intelligence, Xeus Pro provides RF engineers with the power of analyzing millions of calls, or simply just one, to better manage the QoS of their VIP mobile customers.
Ares Management Ltd. and GE Capital International Provide EUR 46.5 Million Debt Facility to InfoVista
Jul 31 14
Ares Management Ltd. and GE Capital International have provided a EUR 46.5 million debt facility to InfoVista through the firms' EUR 1.75 billion joint venture, the European Senior Secured Loan Programme (ESSLP). The ESSLP acted as Mandated Lead Arranger for the senior unitranche loan, with proceeds to be used to refinance existing indebtedness of Infovista, a French portfolio company of Thoma Bravo and a global leader of IP and RF planning, service assurance and network optimization software solutions. This financing represents the eighth transaction from the ESSLP, which has deployed approximately EUR 875 million since inception in 2012. The ESSLP, the first unitranche funding programme of its kind in the European debt market, provides flexible unitranche financing solutions to European mid-market borrowers. The refinancing was led on behalf of Ares Management by Aurélien Loszycer, Axel Cordonnier and Romain Goulet and on behalf of GE Capital International by Camille Frizon de Lamotte and Arnaud Gayet.
Mosaik Solutions and InfoVista Announce Alliance to Better Monetize Network Coverage
Jun 24 14
InfoVista announced a new alliance with Mosaik Solutions. This partnership will provide new ways for mobile operators to reduce subscriber churn and monetize their networks. InfoVista and Mosaik will collaborate to streamline the use of mobile network engineering data, such as coverage maps in sales and marketing activities. This will be achieved by combining the mobile network intelligence and strategic decision-making capabilities of Mosaik's cloud-based interactive mapping platform, MapELEMENTS(R), with the RF network modeling capabilities of InfoVista's coverage map production solution, Mentum Fusion. Together, the solutions will provide new ways for mobile operators to unleash the value associated with their mobile network roll-out plans. Poor mobile network performance and coverage remain the primary reasons for subscriber churn. Mobile operators, therefore, need to focus on optimizing customer satisfaction by ensuring best-in-class customer quality of experience (QoE) throughout their mobile networks. To enable mobile operators to achieve this objective, InfoVista is focusing on helping them to cost-effectively deliver uncompromising mobile network performance and better network coverage throughout the entire lifecycle and across all domains of the ever-growing mobile network. The integration of Mentum Fusion's near-real-time network coverage maps with Mosaik's world-class network intelligence applications will enable mobile operators to be more proactive in their quest to limit churn, by helping executives, marketers, engineers and GIS analysts tackle marketing programs, customer care programs, competitive network planning and other strategic growth initiatives.
