Burson-Marsteller announced that, effective immediately, Margaret Key has been named CEO, Asia-Pacific. Prema Sagar, Principal and Founder of Genesis Burson-Marsteller, takes on the additional title of Vice Chair, Asia-Pacific. Key is based in Hong Kong, and Sagar is based in New Delhi. Key succeeds Terri-Helen Gaynor, who has resigned from the company for personal and family reasons. Sagar succeeds Patrick Ford, who has moved back to the U.S. and continues as a Burson-Marsteller Worldwide Vice Chair and its Global Chief Client Officer. Both Sagar and Key report to Worldwide Chair and CEO Donald A. Baer, and they join Burson-Marsteller's Global Senior Leadership Team. Key had served as Chief Operating Officer for Asia-Pacific for the past year and was acting Hong Kong Market Leader until earlier 2015. She joined Burson-Marsteller in 2010 as Korea Market Leader, having previously served in senior roles at Edelman in Japan, Korea and Hong Kong. Her expertise spans a range of industry sectors including technology, healthcare and automotive, as well as international corporate affairs.

Burson-Marsteller announced that Jorge Ortega has joined the company as executive vice president and managing director of the agency's Miami office, which serves the Florida market and is the headquarters for Latin America regional business. He will lead a multidisciplinary team of communications professionals supporting clients in brand communications, public and corporate affairs, reputation management, crisis response and digital strategies. Ortega will provide strategic and creative counsel while helping clients leverage it's suite of global services and diverse talent. This will be Ortega's second term with the company, where he began his career. Ortega has broad experience in corporate and brand communications, issues and crisis management and expertise in Hispanic marketing. Prior to rejoining the company, he was founder and managing partner of Newlink America.

It combines the firm's proprietary data analytics and leading Web data tools, opinion polling and research capabilities with full-service creative and production capabilities to coordinate and scale the most creative, data-driven content with distribution across all traditional, digital and social media channels. Burson-Marsteller StudioB is currently being rolled out across the firm's U.S. offices, beginning in New York, Washington, D.C. and Chicago, with global expansion expected.
