Consolidated Container Announces Organisational Changes; Announces Executive Changes

Consolidated Container Co announced a number of structural and organisational changes to two of its subsidiaries, Envision Plastics and Ecoplast. Ecoplast would be re-positioned under the Envision Plastics umbrella, as part of an overall strategy to support current and future growth expectations.
The company has hired Mark Schafer, a former business executive at Georgia Pacific, as the new vice president and general manager for the newly combined Envision Plastics business. The hire follows the departure of Scott Booth, who led Envision and Ecoplast since the acquisition, as well as Jose Perez, the most recent sales and procurement leader at Ecoplast. Tamsin Ettefagh, current vice president, sales, has also had her responsibilities extended to include both the Envision and Ecoplast product lines. In addition, Mylinda Jacobsen, purchasing manager at Envision, has agreed to assume responsibility for the supply and trading of raw materials for both Envision and Ecoplast products.

Consolidated Container Company announced the appointment of Sean Fallmann, a seasoned packaging executive, as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer. He will assume his responsibilities on April 28, 2014. Fallmann most recently was President of Georgia-Pacific's $5 billion North American consumer business. Fallmann, age 46, brings a wealth of experience in general management, sales, and marketing in the packaging and consumer products businesses to Consolidated Container. He has served in various executive roles at Georgia-Pacific over the past 18 years, including as President of its Dixie business. Fallmann began his career in positions of increasing responsibility during a six-year tenure at Kraft Foods. Earlier this year, the company's current CEO, Jeffrey Greene, announced his intention to resign from his position after a twelve-year career at Consolidated Container, the last eight of which he served as President and CEO.
