Constantine Cannon LLP. Files Lawsuit Against Verizon Communications Inc. At&T Inc. Sprint Corp. and T-Mobile US Inc. for Overcharged Government Clients by over $100 Million
Dec 10 15
Verizon Communications Inc. AT&T Inc., Sprint Corp. and T-Mobile US Inc. are facing a lawsuit alleging that they overcharged government clients by over $100 million. The suit, filed in Sacramento County Superior Court under the California False Claims Act, was filed by a whistleblower who has now been joined by 42 California entities. The case, unsealed by the court on Dec. 7, accuses the carriers of ignoring provisions in their master contracts requiring them to provide a rate plan optimization that would have allowed government customers to buy wireless services at the lowest available cost. The suit was filed by rate plan analysis firm on The Go Wireless, and the plaintiffs are represented by Constantine Cannon LLP.
