Wizz Air to Launch Four New Direct Flights from Budapest

Wizz Air will operate direct flights between Budapest and Faro (Portugal), Hannover (Germany), Bergen (Norway) and Lamezia
Terme (Italy) from April 2017. With the four additional destinations Wizz Air will be flying to 55 cities from Budapest. Wizz Air will put into service an Airbus A321 aircraft for the expansion, bringing the number of aircraft at its base in Budapest to 11. The airline is also increasing the number of its flights to Liverpool and Nice, up from twice a week to three times a week.
Wizz Air to Launch Route from Romania's Satu Mare to London

The Romanian unit of Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air said that it is launching a new route from the northwestern Romanian city of Satu Mare to London starting October 31, 2016. The new route will be operated twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. The airport in Satu Mare is now the tenth operating one for Wizz Air in Romania. Also, Wizz Air's route to London is the airport's first international connexion. Also starting December, the company said it will deploy another aircraft to its Bucharest base, its ninth in the Romanian capital. Wizz Air plans to grow its fleet to 20 aircraft in the country by the end of 2016, and will have a total of ten airports out of which seven are operating bases.
Wizz Air to Invest $100 Million in Expansion of Serbian Operations

Wizz Air is planning to invest $100 million in the expansion of its operations in Serbia, as it will launch four new lines and add an aircraft to its base in Belgrade. Wizz Air will add an Airbus A320 to its base in Belgrade, opening 36 jobs. As of May 2017, Wizz Air will also introduce four new lines from Belgrade - to Friedrichshafen, Hanover and Nuremberg in Germany and to Malta. Following the launch of the new flights, Wizz Air will fly from Serbia to 20 destinations in seven countries. Apart from Belgrade, Wizz Air services flights to the city of Nis, in the east of Serbia.
