Wizz Air to Launch Flights from Bucharest to Birmingham in May

Wizz Air announced that it will launch flights from Bucharest to Birmingham in England on May 22. The airline will operate the route twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. The company said earlier it would add an Airbus A321 aircraft to its Romanian fleet in 2016.
Wizz Air Revises Earnings Guidance for the Financial Year Ending March 31, 2016

Wizz Air raised its profit guidance for its financial year ending March 31, 2016. With the continued expansion of its network, Wizz Air estimates that it will grow capacity by around 18 pc in the 2016 financial year and that net profit will be in the range of EUR 190 million -EUR 200 million. In July, the airline had forecast 17 pc capacity growth and EUR 175 million - EUR 185 million net profits for the 2016 financial year. Lower fuel prices are feeding through to lower air fares the company anticipates that the downward trend in unit revenues will continue in the second half of the financial year.

Wizz Air has announced the launch of four new routes from Warsaw to Aberdeen, Bari, Bristol and Reykjavik, starting May 13, 2016, and a new Poznan route to Birmingham, which will start operating from December 18, 2015. Wizz Air further said that it will increase the frequencies on some of WIZZ's more popular routes from the Polish capital, including to London Luton, Stockholm Skavsta, Budapest, Oslo Torp, Doncaster, Kutaisi, Birmingham and Catania.
