CloudPay announced that Gareth Hughes has been appointed to the role of chief technology officer (CTO). In this capacity, he will be responsible for leading the development and continuous improvement of CloudPay's cloud-based integrated global payroll and payments platform and overseeing the company's technical operations. Hughes is well qualified for this role, having joined CloudPay as technical architect and U.K. development lead in 2010 before assuming the position of Head of Development. Prior to joining CloudPay, he gained extensive experience in the IT field, serving as a senior developer at Axiell and as a software developer at Triangle Computer Services.
