Kelley School Mulls Sale
Apr 18 14
Kelley School of Business, Indiana University is eyeing a possible sale. Councilors voted to send to the Planning and Development Committee a measure that would declare the school as surplus property - and thus be in a classification that it can be sold. Several councilors expressed concern that the building's historic facades be saved and other architectural features be preserved. Mayor Donna Holaday said that if the school can be sold - perhaps to a developer who would create condominium units - cash realized could be directed to the future of the Brown School.
