JA Worldwide Announces Management Changes

JA Worldwide announced that it has chosen Asheesh Advani as its next CEO. Advani has extensive experience as a successful entrepreneur in the technology and financial services sectors. In addition, he brings years of non-profit leadership to the organization, which provides workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy programs to youth around the world through innovative, experiential programs. Advani’s career includes his recent role as CEO of Covestor. Previously, he was vice president and general manager at Thomson Reuters, a consultant with the World Bank Group, and founder and CEO of CircleLending. Effective in July, Advani will succeed Sean Rush, who has served as CEO of JA Worldwide since 2008.

Junior Achievement of Maine Appoints Steve Mortimer as President

The board of directors of Junior Achievement of Maine has announced the appointment of Steve Mortimer as president, effective from Jan. 14. During his corporate career, he was senior vice president of operations for an international insurance company, chief operating officer at a major HMO and a senior manager at Accenture.
