International Lease Finance Corp. to Lease Two 787-8 Dreamliners to Neos

Boeing and International Lease Finance Corp. (ILFC) announced that two 787-8 Dreamliners will be leased by ILFC to Neos. Based at Milan Malpensa Airport in northern Italy, Neos will become the first 787 operator when it takes delivery of the airplane in 2018. Neos currently operates an all-Boeing fleet of six Next-Generation 737-800s and two 767-300ER (Extended Range) airplanes. The airline will use the 787s to provide even greater passenger comfort and service, and expand its route network.

International Lease Finance Corporation and Azul Brazilian Airlines Sign Agreement to Lease Five Airbus A350-900 and Three A330-200 Aircraft

International Lease Finance Corporation announced that it has signed an agreement with Azul Brazilian Airlines to lease five Airbus A350-900 and three A330-200 aircraft. The aircraft will be operated on the airline's new international routes from São Paulo/Campinas airport to the U.S., which are expected to launch in early 2015. The A350-900 aircraft are anticipated to deliver in 2017, while deliveries of the A330-200 aircraft are expected to begin in 2014. Rolls-Royce engines will power the aircraft.
