The board of directors of Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited at the meeting held on November 16, 2015 passed the receipt of financial facilities support from Maybank Kim Eng Holdings Limited (MBKEH) amount of THB 2,000 million. The company borrowed from MBKEH type subordinate loan (none collateral and uncallable to borrower for repayment before the maturity date of the loan) amount of THB 2,000 million with interest 1% per annum above cost of funds and term 2 years from the date of the loan agreement. The company agreed to repay an interest and all expenses to MBKEH amount not more than THB 100 million per annum.

Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited reported unaudited earnings results for third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported net profit of MYR 199,860,000 or MYR 0.35 earnings per basic share compared with MYR 385,208,000 or MYR 0.67 earnings per basic share for the same period last year. Operating result decreased from the same period of last year by 48.12% due to brokerage fees from securities business decreased by 37.82%, Fee and service income decreased by 85.73%, total operating expenses decreased by 24.37% and corporate income tax decreased by 47.18%.
