Vector Aerospace Signs Contract with the Department of National Defence (DND) to Perform all MRO Services for their T-58 Engines

Vector Aerospace announced that it has signed a contract with the Department of National Defence (DND) to perform all MRO services for their T-58 engines, effective July 30, 2015. Vector Aerospace has been a registered overhaul facility for CT-58 and T-58 engines since 1976. Between 1996 and 2003, Vector was instrumental in developing and implementing an upgrade program for 109 DND T-58 engine conversions from the -8F to -100 configurations. Vector also repairs the T700-T6A1 engines for the AW CH-149 Cormorant (AW101) and is currently conducting Assemble Inspection and Test (AIT) for the CT7-8A7 engines for the new Sikorsky CH-148 (H92) Cyclone helicopters in Canada.

Airbus Helicopters, Vector Aerospace and Rockwell Collins Sign Pro Line Fusion® Cockpit Upgrade Agreement

Airbus Helicopters, Vector Aerospace and Rockwell Collins have entered into an agreement to jointly develop and market the scalable and flexible Pro Line Fusion integrated avionics solution to upgrade Airbus Helicopters platforms. The first platforms targeted for the upgrades will be AS332 /532 MK1 helicopters, with the first implementation expected in the summer of 2016. Featuring advanced graphical interfaces, intuitive icons and easily configurable multi-function display windows, Pro Line Fusion makes it easy for pilots to keep their eyes forward and stay focused on the mission during all phases of flight and in all flying conditions. The mission-specific operational profiles featured in Pro Line Fusion for helicopters include offshore platform approaches, hover in place, extended search and rescue patterns, and other critical mission capabilities. Combining large, high-resolution displays with the ease of touch-screen operations, complemented by intuitive keypad and cursor controls, Pro Line Fusion can meet the demands of helicopter missions presently and in the future.
