The joint solution is the result of the strategic partnership between Thunderhead and Microsoft that was announced in November 2014. As an innovation, brand and marketing specialist, Thompson brings over 20 years of experience in multiple global markets working with some of the consumer brands including Guinness, PlayStation, Toyota, 3, Absolut, Pepsi, FedEx, Bacardi and O2. In his role as CMO, Thompson will be responsible for the strategic direction of the Thunderhead.com brand, the go-to-market execution and driving the entire global marketing operation. Before joining Thunderhead.com, Thompson was the Global Director of Business Innovation at Telefonica, one of the telecommunications companies in the world.

Thunderhead.com and Markit announced a partnership to establish an online service for creating and negotiating Master Confirmation Agreements (MCAs) at scale. Markit will integrate Thunderhead.com's ONE for Capital Markets software as a service (SaaS) solution that automates the production, editing and execution of MCAs and other capital markets documentation, with Counterparty Manager, Markit's secure document management platform used by approximately 80 banks, 900 buy-side firms and 6,000 corporations for trading, account onboarding, reference-data management, regulatory compliance and other reporting.
